Currently I don’t have any pets with me here in Korea, but we have 5 dogs that are living with my husbands parents in South Africa.

Simple. I live in Korea and wanted to write about my life and experiences in Korea. Initially we came to Korea to use it as a stepping stone to immigrate to another country. But now since we’re here we are thinking of making it our new home even if it is just for the next few year as no one knows what the future holds. If you told me ten years ago I will be living in Korea now I would have called you out for bullshitting me.
My brother always quotes Robbie Williams by saying “I sit and talk to God and he just laughs at my plans”. This is absolutely true. We have made so many plans with our lives but in the end its not up to us no matter how much you try to take it into your own hands.
So… here we are in Korea living it up 😀

I have decided to collaborate with one of my blogger friends – in doing a 30 day challenge to see if I can maintain a whole month of daily blogging. So here goes….
Some random facts about me…

My Favourite song
At the moment I like Shadows by Lindsey Stirling
Favourite Sport
It has to be rugby. I prefer playing sports to watching sport but I love watching rugby.

My favourite band
Most definitely Linkin Park. Always have been and probably always will be.

Favourite Show
My favourite shows are Breaking Bad, The Fall, Penny dreadful, The night manager (mini series) and then The walking dead and Game of thrones. I don’t always have the time to sit and watch endless seasons but these ones I manage to always make time for.

Favourite Movie
The batman Trilogy.

My favourite colour
Pink, everything pink 🙂

Favourite Food
Mango, I love mangoes. It always reminds me of when I was a kid in summer. they were quite expensive so it was a real treat eating them. We use to eat them at my grandma’s house.

Favourite drink
Lemonade

Favourite Video game
Insurgency although I like to play cute games like Ori and the Blind forest too.

This weekend we’re off to Busan to meet up with my brother and his wife for 3 days. We’ve booked the hotel, bus and train tickets, and we’ve printed out the itinerary. The only thing left to do is pack our clothes.
Travelling clothes. Because we’re going to travel first by bus and then by train I’ve decided to wear something simple and easy to move around with. This entails a comfortable but pretty shirt, jeans and some comfy sandals.
We’ve decided to go out for dinner the first night so I’m taking a cocktail dress with some high heels. I’m also taking a scarf because it’s not really appropriate to let your shoulders hang out in Korea.
As is always the case, living in Korea involves lots and lots of walking, therefore a pair of comfortable shoes is always a must. For walking around I’m taking some shorts and casual dresses.
Black monochromes
Cream and salmon ensemble.
For the ride home I will probably wear my jeans and mix it up with one of the other shirts, depending on how I feel.
